'Proud of my skin colour' is what Kalidou Koulibaly said after an onslaught of racial comments and monkey chants were thrown his way. Even though efforts were made to try to stop the racial chants through the stadium's loudspeaker, no benefit was seen in doing so. This Occurred in Milan versus Internazionale FC.

Mario Balotelli; the case of Balotelli is interesting due to the fact that he is probably the most football player to be targeted by racist bigots. The image to the left reflects how he felt after the continuous discrimination he was facing in a match between AC Milan and Napoli FC.

Eto'o

Samual Eto'o, arguable one the best Strikers in the long and victorious history of Barcelona FC has faced a lot of racism over the years. Fans from the opposing team were constantly discriminating due to the colour of his skin, he was exiting the pitch, but, his teammates convinced him otherwise.

Katidis

Giorgos Katidis; an upcoming young talent made a Nazi Salut after scoring a late winner against his homes teams rival club. The young talent denied he knew the meaning of the gesture after being scrutinized but in turn was given a 10-match ban, and was banned from representing his national team of Greece for life.

Keane

Moise Keane; a young promising talent was brought on late in an important match against rivals AC Milan. As he was playing he was bombarded with racist chants and slurs, it took him 5 minutes to score after coming on late and then confronted the rival fans with the celebration you can see on the photo to the left.

Suarez vs Evra

Manchester united versus Liverpool one of the most notorious rivalries in the football world. Suarez Liverpool's goalscorer did not agree to shake an opposing players hand (Patrice Evra) due to the colour of his skin. Suarez faced a four match ban, even though denying it was anything to do with Evra's skin colour.
