THE PROBLEM

Racism in football is the abuse of players, officials, and fans because of their skin colour, nationality, or ethnicity. Some may also be targeted because of their association with an opposing team.

Racism comes in many ways, shapes and forms. When discussing racism in Football, different types of Racism must be investigated. As shown in the collage above, racism can come about between players and other players, players and fans and vice versa, and fans of opposing teams.
